About the Department – Customer Experience (TeleSales)

The TeleSales team is a core part of the Customer Experience division, responsible for converting leads, maximizing customer retention, and delivering exceptional service through outbound sales. The Deputy Manager leads this initiative, aligning business goals with execution and team motivation.


Role Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement telesales strategies for meeting revenue and conversion goals
  • Upsell and cross-sell Tata 1mg services like medicines, diagnostics, and health plans
  • Improve sales performance through process enhancement and adoption of best practices

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead a team of Telesales Executives and Senior Executives
  • Define KPIs and monitor performance on a daily basis
  • Conduct training sessions on pitch improvement, sales techniques, and objection handling
  • Develop and implement incentive programs to boost productivity

3. Process Optimization & CRM Management

  • Use CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, Leadsquared for lead tracking and engagement
  • Improve call quality and conversion rates by analyzing feedback
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve lead flow

4. Customer Engagement & Retention

  • Create retention and customer reactivation strategies
  • Analyze objections and common queries to optimize sales approaches
  • Focus on high-quality interactions and service delivery

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Present insights and sales performance data to senior management
  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly KPIs, identify gaps, and take corrective actions

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or call center operations

  • Industry background in healthcare, e-commerce, fintech, or BFSI preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation platforms
  • Strong communication, leadership, and data analysis skills
  • A data-driven mindset for reporting and decision-making
